eSIM installation and activation on Oppo
Follow these steps to install and activate your Fulldatos eSIM.
Make sure you have a solid internet connection before starting the installation, ideally using a Wi-Fi network or a good 4G/5G connection.
Before you travel (installation)
Open Settings on your mobile device
Within Settings, select the Mobile Network option.
Select the eSIM option
Select the eSIM option and turn it on.
Press the Add eSIM button
Press the Add eSIM button, and if your device asks whether you want to download a SIM, select 'Next'.
Press the Settings button
Once your device indicates that the download is complete, press the Settings button.
Select the eSIM option again
Within this menu you can enable or disable your eSIM. If you're not at your destination yet, we recommend keeping it turned off.
When you arrive at your destination (activation)
Turn off your primary SIM and turn on the eSIM
When you arrive, go into the eSIM menu and enable your eSIM. Also, turn off your primary SIM to avoid charges from your provider while abroad.
Enable Data Roaming
Make sure Data Roaming is enabled. You can find this option in the eSIM menu (where you activate it) or in the 'Mobile Networks'/'Mobile Plans' menu.
When your trip ends
Re-enable your primary SIM, then you can deactivate or remove the Fulldatos eSIM. We recommend that you don't remove it, so you can top it up for your next trip and avoid installing a new one.
