Using it on your trip
Yes, absolutely! All our eSIM packages let you share your mobile data with other devices (laptops, tablets, or other phones) by enabling the “Personal Hotspot” or “Mobile Hotspot” feature on your phone.
Important tips and considerations
- Data consumption: Connecting more devices will use up your package faster.
- Phone battery: Using your phone as a hotspot drains the battery, bring a power bank if you plan to use it for long periods.
- Use cases: Ideal for giving internet to family devices, working on your laptop in a café, or letting your kids use a tablet on a road trip.
Gigabyte packages: You always browse at the maximum available speed (4G/LTE/5G).
Unlimited packages: We apply a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) after high daily consumption to guarantee service quality.
What is the Fair Usage Policy (FUP)?
It’s an industry-standard rule that keeps the network stable for all users.
How the FUP works:
- Daily high-speed allowance: You typically get 1 GB – 1.5 GB per day at unrestricted maximum speed (depending on the package).
- After the daily limit: Speeds are throttled, but you retain unlimited data for essential use.
- Daily reset: The high-speed period resets every 24 hours.
Our recommendation: Choose a data-by-gigabyte package if you want guaranteed maximum speeds.
You can get a quick estimate on your phone’s settings or an exact figure in your “My eSIM” portal, accessed via the email we sent you.
Option 1: In the “My eSIM” portal (exact data)
- Open the email with your QR code and click the button labeled “Consumption”.
- You’ll enter a dashboard showing remaining data, your package’s validity, and other details.
Option 2: On your phone (quick estimate)
- iPhone: Go to Settings > Cellular Data (or Mobile Networks) and scroll to see usage next to your eSIM’s name.
- Android: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Data Usage to view consumption for each SIM.
You can add more data to your eSIM in two ways without having to install a new eSIM: use the link you received by email or do it from your account on our website.
Option 1: Using the link in your email
- Find the email: open the message containing your QR code.
- Access the portal: click the button labeled “Consumption”.
- Start the top-up: click “Top-up eSIM”.
- Select your package and confirm the purchase.
Option 2: If you have a user account
- Log in and go to My eSIMs.
- Locate your active eSIM.
- Click “Top-up eSIM”.
- Select your package and confirm the purchase.
Key point: In both cases, the new data is added automatically to your eSIM, no installation is required.
